The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalm 28:7

Happy Sabbath Again!

Human beings have no right to think that there is a limit to the efforts that they are to make in the work of soulsaving. Did Christ ever become weary in His work? Did He ever draw back from sacrifice and hardship?
Church members are to put forth the continuous, persevering efforts that He put forth. They are to be ever ready to spring into action in obedience to the Master's commands.
Wherever we see work waiting to be done we are to take it up and do it, constantly looking unto Jesus. If our church members would heed this instruction, hundreds of souls would be won to Jesus.
If every church member were a living missionary, the gospel would speedily be proclaimed in all countries, to all peoples, nations, and tongues.  {9T 32.2}

They are out on Patrol

We have been seeing more of these creatures out at night.
One did sneak in my door and we had the neighbor man come and use a machete on it. Very docile and slow moving most of the time.
I guess they can get more active during mating time.
I'm really not bothered by them that much as long as they are outside.
Its fun to watch them crawl along!

God's Watchful Care

Long day yesterday with my truck over heating on the way home in the dark. Praise the Lord that we stopped right in front of a persons house that had a water hose. That was very fortunate.
He helped us cool the truck down because Chris was not there.
Then he said there was a mechanic just down the street and sent someone down to get him. For some reason my fan stopped working which caused the overheating. So the mechanic checked several things and ended up straight wiring my fan to the battery to get it to run. Both very nice men and thanking God that he was right there with us and provided us immediate and safe help!

Storms

We had some major storms come through Belize last week!!
Lots of huge vertical lightening strikes toucing down everywhere and one struck the radio tower and blew out our internet line and computer!

Lots of rain and power outages.

The radio had several losses too and just got their internet back and a new computer. So thankful for friends so I can update my blog and check emails.
Hopefully, we will get internet back for us soon.
We need a computer to replace the one we lost but I'm not sure when that will happen?

I had a nice birthday and continue to feel better everyday!

Handy Man

Chris worked on the roof today.......sealing up some of the leaks!! We hope.

I ran the hose for him and tried to do a little bit but wasn't much help. I ended up really sunburned, which I'm wondering if that was because of the dengue virus.

Feeling better everyday but still weak and very tired. My right eye is better but not all the way yet. So glad to be feeling much better than I was originally.

Dragon Fruit

This is a delicious fruit!!
We all love it.

Today's Appt.

Had the CT scan today..........everything is good except for evidence of some brain swelling from an excrutiating headache. NO tumors, ruptures, aneurysms and such. Praise God!!!!
My current diagnosis is that I have Dengue! According to the doctor I will several more weeks of feeling weak, fatigued, dizzy, and my eye vision has not corrected yet. Although I can use my right eye a little more every...
day but still having the double/blurred vision. I still have head and eye pressure and the doctor hopes that those symptoms will resolve in the next couple weeks.
Sooooooo Relieved that it wasn't something in my brain and now just work and recovering from dengue.
Thank you so much for prayer and keep praying that I will recover sooner.
I guess this can leave effects for several months.

Never feel that Christ is far away. He is always near. His loving presence surrounds you. Seek Him as One who desires to be found of you. He desires you not only to touch His garments, but to walk with Him in constant communion. (Ministry of Healing)

Prayers Please

Please pray for me as I had some kind of incident involving my eyes and the right side of my head only. I'm left with eye pressure/pain and blurred/double vision. THis happened a day and a half ago right before my fast. I was hoping it would resolve but has not. So on my way to specialist in belize city. Pray for an outpouring of God's blessings on us. Thankyou
Update:
Eye specialist referred me to a neurologist today and I have to go back for a CT scan probably sometime next week. Could be a terrible painful migraine behind my right eye or there are more serious options that he went into with me. Please pray for me and I will post as soon as I get the scan.

Special Prayer

I had been hearing little bits over the past few months but unsure of who or what was happening. My family had wondered in our hearts for which child was being spoken. We have said prayers for this child not knowing for sure who it is.
I have finally had conformation that it is indeed the beautiful child that we'd so hoped it was not.

Please pray for a once vibrant young girl who is in constant pain and the doctors cannot figure out what is wrong? Please pray that God will heal her, as well as, God opening the doctors eyes to her condition!

I know there are many people that view my blog and from over 22 different countries. If everyone who reads this sends up special prayer and also passes it on, this child will be prayed for around the world.

Prayer is the most powerful and God hears them!
Please Pray!

Fasting & Prayer

Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? [is it] to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes [under him]? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?
[Is] not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
[Is it] not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I [am]. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; And [if] thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness [be] as the noon day:
And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Isaiah 58:5-11

Mission Project 2012 #2

Day 2 of the mission project at Hillview church (our church.)

This morning came way too soon and we all seemed tired as we dragged ourselves out of bed, threw on our work clothes, and headed to the church.

Once again Chris missed out because he had to be in Belize! Not that we can't work without him just seems like he misses the manual labor stuff.

This morning we had a very sparce work crew and it was mainly kids. Until about 8am it was only Bill and I and the kids. We started plugging away by sifting sand through a homemade sifter. This week we had a little concrete mixer that we had to shovel the concrete out of and into buckets or a wheelbarrow. I guess thats better than mixing is by hand on the ground (which I've done.)

Finally, a couple other adults showed up and that was it......just the faithful few plugging away and getting this new Sabbath school room addition done.

I just want to praise my kids for all their hard work!!!!
Bella really did an excellent job with the concrete work and so did Hannah. They both worked without complaining and I had to force Bella to take a break! Mat was there for a while but had to come back and mow the neighbor ladies yard, which is hard work too.

If anyone feels impressed to help financially you can visit the faithfm website at www.faithfmbelize.com and donate via paypal and make sure to designate Hillview church. Or email me for other options at camhimission@hotmail.com
We need help and financial assistance to finish this project!
